Not a very bright criminal, yet it’s a miracle she didn’t make it to Mexico.
I think I read elsewhere the murdered woman’s car was spotted - everybody knows you should at least change out the plates, preferably steal another vehicle when fleeing.
But her gambling addiction probably addled her brain and made her lazy.
The odds were against her the whole time, but I guess she hadn’t figured that out.
