‘Unarmed’ black man killed in Walmart parking lot by police officers firing 'dozens of bullets' into packed car
Police have shot and killed a 26-year-old black man in a packed car outside of a Walmart in what his family say was an overly aggressive police response that led to an unnecessary death.
Police in Barstow, California killed Diante Yarber, a father of three, earlier this month after attempting to stop the vehicle he was in. A report from Barstow police says that Mr Yarber was “wanted for questioning” in a stolen vehicle case, and that he struck two patrol cars before an officer opened fire.
Dozens of gunshots can be heard in a shaky video recorded by a witness of the shooting. Mr Yarber is said to have been unarmed at the time of the shooting, which also injured a young woman in the vehicle.
“The police took him away for no reason,” Brittany Chandler, the mother of one of Mr Yarber’s children, told the Guardian. “The police should be held accountable for this … They are sick people for them to be able to shoot someone down in broad daylight.”
Previous reports from the police and local media in March indicate that Mr Yarber had been sentenced to four years probation last year for child abuse or endangerment, and resisting or obstructing an officer, according to court records. He was also sentenced to more than a year in prison in August of 2011 for pointing a shotgun at a group of people, and then shooting overhead, other records show. Mr Yarber was taken into police custody in mid-March on felony charges for possessing a firearm, but managed to escape from custody at the time.

A few things:
A car load of young folks, regardless of ethnicity, sitting in a walmart parking lot is suspicious.
Don't sit in a walmart parking lot if you are wanted for questioning in another crime.
Don't try and make a break for it when you are surrounded by cop cars and especially don't try and hit the cops.
Following of these simple guidelines would have prevented his.
BTW, walmart has very good resolution cameras in their parking lot which should have recorded this and there also is usually a lot of folks as witnesses in a walmart parking lot. The only problem you have is deciphering the reality from the BS and imaginations of the witnesses.
And don't have 3 kids if you are a criminal and can't support them

this is all you need to know, including the media bias. Was this a married man being a father to his 3 kids? Or just the babbydaddy for one (or more) mothers? Did he uses his vehicle as a weapon? Would he have run over and killed the officers if given the chance to get away?
A normal 'father' of three would stop when asked and answer any questions, and then he'd be home with his 3 kids that night.
Last, but not least, DID HE steal the car in question?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Why don’t blacks cooperate with police? Non-cooperation leads to conflict. Conflict leads to injury or death.

Was not the two cars being hit considered “assault with a deadly weapon”?......Hence the shooting. Are not police trained to fire until the threat is stopped? If the perp was in a vehicle, it takes a lot to stop said vehicle. So, keep shooting until it is no longer a threat.

Bingo. Using the vehicle to attempt to kill cops doesn’t exactly make you “unarmed,” does it?
The rules for getting through life without getting killed by police are few and rather simple. It’s beyond me why some people cannot comprehend that.
When my kids were young I could hardly ever go anywhere without taking at least one with me.

Dozens of bullets are far cheaper than trial and incarceration.

Now you know the bam and blm don’t give to craps about that. They see it as some innocent guy trying to exit the wally world parking lot with his groceries. He didn’t have a “9” or an AR so he wasn’t a threat. We know this song and dance.
I’ve seen people with no arms drive a car.

A white man, under the exact same circumstances, would usually elicit a response such as, “ what an idiot!” Why does skin color change that?
In criminal law, the term, “deadly weapon” refers to any other object that is used or intended to be used in such a way that it could cause death or serious injury to another human being.
That includes motorized vehicles.
