On January 2018, the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) hosted three orchestral concerts called 'Duellen - Morricone trækker først' (The Dual - Morricone draws first) which included some of the soundtrack from various western and gangster movies. This is their version of some of the music from the western classic: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
The concert was hosted by Kristian Leth and conducted by Sarah Hicks. The performance was orchestrated by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra (DR Symfoniorkester) with help from The Danish Concert Choir (DR Koncertkoret).

Found this last weekend, great production, worth listening to and watching.

I love this piece of music. But I do not like the tone of the female vocalizations in this rendition — their “wah-wah-wah” sounds are like human female nagging rather than what Morricone intended—surrealistic wild animal sounds in a hot climate.
I like that version so much better than the Danish Orchestra. They get the feeling just right.
The Danes appreciate it more than Amerikans.
