I thought TXnMA said he/she was in Massachusetts for a while but got back to the Free USA in the Republic of Texas?

I’m a Southerner, and a non-coastal Westerner, which I suppose makes me a Southwesterner. But I’m not a Texan, and I wouldn’t ever claim to be. I’ve got lots of kin in and from there though.

I hold Texans in high regard. That’s why I was surprised to be called names and talked down to from someone I don’t know. Shoot.
