Social media provides a more one-on-one form of the news:poll feedback loop. One way or the other, our "feeds are curated" and "our reactions are measured." See too, focus grouping phrases to improve acceptance by the public at large.

Totally agree that interaction tends to improve belief. The new method is more effective than the old - and BOTH systems run in parallel, that is at the same time.
