Right...Hot dogs were made for mustard and chili...Maybe cheese...
“You got your ketchup in my mayonnaise”
“You got your mayonnaise in my ketchup”
“Two great tastes that taste great together.”
NOT!
In Amsterdam, you can get curry sauce for your frites, but not ketchup.
Ever have a Big Mac? Special Sauce!
Add relish and it’s thousand island.
Two all-beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun.
The hamburger drive in on the edge of town used to serve that mix with the best fries ever. I forgot about it; now I want some.
I don’t like either and I won’t even try both.
As long as it isn’t Russian dressing.
That would be collusion.
Sounds awful but another combination is OK.
When I was in the first grade they served hot dogs maybe every 2 weeks or so. They had a sauce which you could put on them. It was the only thing offered.
I thought it was a special creation of the lunchroom but another kid told me they just mixed the ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise together in one bowl to make the line go faster.
It was actually pretty good.
Well, let's just say in Amsterdam, there are a LOT of things you can't get anywhere else.
Actually it's closer to French dressing - Russian dressing has a bit of horseradish and hot-sauce. For Thousand Island dressing, mix in some sweet pickle relish.
For people who are too lazy to mix mayonnaise and ketchup....
*APPLAUSE*
One of the BEST lines from a movie...EVER!
Probably haven’t had a Big Mac in 30 years. Just not a Mickey D’s fan.
Yuck! Thumbs down on ‘secret sauce’ ketchup-flavored mayo. I love ketchup and put it on everything, but can’t say the same for mayo. It’s... slimy. Miracle Whip works for me, but not mixed with ketchup. Ketchup needs to stay ketchup.
I just looked and we already have 8 different ‘condiments’ in the fridge door and two types of Hot Sauce...and don’t EVEN get me started on our assortments of olives and all sorts of ‘pickled’ delicacies!
I, for one, only like Ketchup on Scrambled Eggs and plain Mayo for the rare times I have French Fries. :)
‘Ketchup’ v. ‘Catsup’ should be the REAL question, here! ;)
Throw a little yellow mustard in with it, and you have a perfect French fry dip.
I love mayonnaise, and mustard...ketchup, I can take it or leave it.
BTW, I don’t think the Kerrys own Heinz anymore, but they probably retained a good deal of stock in it. Correct me if I’m wrong about that...I thought I read it somewhere about a year ago.
