It is rampant where I live in the local churches. One worship leader said it best: The more a person knows about the content and history of the bible, the less sure they are of any of their opinions.

And I’ve seen both that and its direct opposite down here in the bible belt. Its opposite is a fascinating thing to experience. It is also called religious bigotry.

This study only turned a well worn axiom into a publication.

In the early 80's, a teacher - Immaculate Heart Sister - educated us in the "arrogance of ignorance", which one can grow out of, if you do not fall to the "ignorance of arrogance".

It has stayed with me for nearly four decades and I am still humbled by the wisdom & dedication of the Sisters...

...and the many, many things I have yet to learn.
