I grew up in a very strong Union family. The Democrats were “for the working man.

I went to public school.

I attended a very liberal university.

I am a Conservative.

What changed me?

Becoming an Army Officer.

But, becoming an Army Officer doesn’t make everyone who does it Conservative.

I know many Liberal Army Officers.

Sometimes, reality just smacks you upside your head and you learn from it.
