According to the DOJ Operations Manual, the Deputy Attorney General is to “Represent DOJ at White House coordination meetings of the National Security Council and Homeland Security Council” as well as some other DOJ matters.
Oh I have not doubt those DOJ guys are over there on a regular basis, it’s just that right now I do not know what RR and POTUS would have to discuss.
At least nothing good to talk about. ;-)
