Was on a flight home today and a group of very young Marines were on the flight, seemed like they had finished boot camp.
I know everyone here appreciates their service. They seemed very proud to serve our country.
With all that is going on on in the world, I was grateful to see these young people willing to serve and protect us all.
May God bless them and keep them safe.
I have two sons that were Marines, or should I say are Marines.
Once a Marine, always a Marine.
I have a little thing I do when I see a soldier, I go up to him or her and say,
“I cannot believe this, but, today is my day to hug a soldier.”
They love it and are always appreciative of the hug and my thanks for their service, caught me a Major yesterday at lunch.
Works good for police officers also.
It is a good thing.
