S'OK... Oddly, while Iran has oil for export, apparently they do not have a refinery.

I had read years ago, that they had *one* refinery. I vaguely *think* I read further, that said refinery could not crack their own country's oil, so they had to rely on external sources for their own petroleum distillates.

This was in the context of, IIRC, the Iranian revolution, and the captured-on-video death of Neda Soltan...the idea being we could bring the govt. to its knees by launching a conventional strike on the refinery, crippling the Iranian economy.

I may be misremembering this, though.
