It truly is a matter of National Defense. The terrorists have been pouring into South America and Mexico. Russia has been helping Venezuela.
The VP of Venezuela is of Syrian descent with ties to Hezbollah, and a drug dealer. Violence there is being largely ignored by US media.
Admiral responsible for that area has testified that he doesn’t have a big enough fleet to take care of it.
