We were looking at that - can’t afford the system that would have enough power for our pump. Also we don’t get enough sun regularly to make it reliable.

Like we’ve been several weeks cloudy and not sun/rain here.

Yeah, in the winter we don’t usually got much sun. DH thinks that using the solar well pump on trickle mode will gradually fill up the tank whenever there’s enough sunlight. He’s excellent at all things mechacical, electrical, hydro, etc so if he says it will work, it will. So he figures even with intermittent sun just part of the time, can even be some thin could cover, it will gradually fill up tank.

Then, of course, tank water has to get to house. If tank is very full, we do have one gravity faucet.
