For nwrep, per request. Roughly chronological, for the art history enthusiasts among us. Note the brightening colors by the end of his body of work. Music is from the 4th movement of The New World Symphony by Dvorak. Smetana Von Karajan, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
nice find- love his art- even his animals had expressions

Well, it wasn’t exactly FOUND. That was a week of collecting the art and creating the video. But thank nwrep for the request.
Excellent

“Sackrider”?
BWAAHAAAHAAAHAAA!
I’m so glad you liked it. The music was also nwrep’s request.
I’m sure he had a very erect posture and explained that his middle name was Sturdyrider.
Wow! Truly exceptional. Thanks for sharing.
Sincerest gratitude, and thanks for providing the download links.
That’s what makes the work worthwhile. Thank you.
I’ll have you know that music almost kept me awake one night. I was so worried how to approach it. Remington has a mix of action and static and the music had 4 major active sections and a lot of quiet. I worried for a day, before starting to work, that I wouldn’t be at the right chronological place for quiet and active. Went super organized and divided the years into four parts to match with the music before starting. Then I had to mess around with the chronology very slightly. There were places I went back or forth a year to get the right mood and tell the right underlying stories. Husband’s first instinct was that we are going to get in trouble for this being SO not PC.
I love doing requests and I was so glad it finally worked. Pleases me immensely that it was what you wanted.
Well, my bird videos used to be played all day in a nursery and a florist’s shops. It’s such a shame I don’t have my local TV show any more. These would have been perfect.
I’m driven out of my mind by the way YouTube mungs my videos. I worked originally from taped Star Trek. Remade them all when the VHS tapes came out. Remade them when RCA came out with LED disks. Remade them when laser discs came out. Remade them when the CDs came out. And then YouTube whacks all the quality out. Drives me batty! I’m so pleased you like the downloads. All of my videos are downloadable from my website, so I’ll try to remember to always include the download file when I announce a video.
All of Remington's work is exceptional, but his nocturnes put him in the most elite class of artists. He spent many years and went though many attempts before discovering the secrets of reproducing night scenes. About fifteen years ago the NGA had an exhibition focusing on Remington's nocturnes called The Color of Night.
Save for later.
I was relatively innocent of his paintings and drawings before nwrep sent me searching. I noticed the nocturnes and that he was playing with light and dark. Reminded me of Renaissance work. I was shocked when he started brightening his colors. I love putting in closeups so you can see the brush strokes and the watercolor lines. Not enough photos show them.
In my living room I have a painting of Secretariat. Also Sherlock Holmes. And an art deco landscape and portrait of Polish revolutionary figure Kosciuszko. Husband’s Polish. I gave up putting up art around the house and now have a rolling cart with separators and a clear plastic front so I can change what shows.
Most excellent. Wonderful music. Wonderful. Later in the still of late evening I’ll check out the channel in full. Thank you.
Then you’ll be up all night. At least. The channel has 851 videos up, though a bunch are news taping and computer history. But there’s at least over 600 of my 726 music videos up. I’ve arranged them into 50 Playlists to make it simpler.
