Will Trump Sign the Omnibus Bill? [Vanity]
Self ^ | March 23, 2018 | Self

Wow, Omnibus bill rushed through both House and Senate without discussion, now to President Trump. Not just the balance of the year, but for many items, for the next three years! Planned Parenthood, token amount for wall and prohibition to build further, funding for sanctuary cities, funding for ObamaCare, new 2nd amendment infringements, and more.

Lame Donald Duck. One and done.

Domestically, the usurper and his Marxist/fascist army controls America.

Buy your ammo and guns now if you are late to the party.

We now return you to the regularly scheduled program of America’s destruction.

p.s. Impeachment and sexual scandal to fill agenda post midterms

Forgive me for being obtuse, but I fail to see the need for an army if the marxist/fascists already control America domestically.

In other words, status quo.

Understood. But Trump better have a plan up his sleeve to screw up the rest of that bill or he and the GOP are finished. Stopping rocket man from going nuclear is simply not worth losing our Republic. Enough maniacs have the bomb already and there is no assurance the Dems and RINOS would even approve military action anyway.
Maybe he setting up the RINOs.

“...We may be in a position where we lose the House this fall and our Senate position doesn’t improve that much. Then, we’ll be in an even weaker position, passing even worse bills than this. The only consolation there is that it’s really hard to get much worse.”
****************************************************************************
Hard to get much worse? I’m betting they’ll take the occasion to have more non-recess recesses (aka vacations). And since the Senate won’t be doing anything anyhow, they’ll have an opportunity to have confirmation votes on judges at EVEN A SLOWER PACE.

And Turtleman McConnell will have more time to think about ways he can advance the interests of China at the expense of the American people. Crap, are we in a nightmare?

“I wish he would veto it “

Every report yesterday said he is ready to sign it.

When other democracies (republics?) Have fallen over the centuries, was it with a wimper or a bang? Did people fight, or was it like America’s demise - frog in the kettle?

“p.s. Impeachment and sexual scandal to fill agenda post midterms” - no matter what he does with the damned budget, so do the right thing and veto it.

As for the military, let us not forget that our military leadership is stuffed with flag officers nominated for promotion by Obama, some of whom are - or were - in the Trump administration. Furthermore, the government, with its completely broken acquisition system, is hardly a good steward of taxpayer money and DoD is the poster child for government waste, fraud and abuse. Government contractors, particularly those in the defense sector, continue to grow, gobble up their competitors and rape the American taxpayer - all while being led by retired flag officers who couldn’t give a shit about “the troops”. Just look at the recent acquisitions by companies like Raytheon, General Dynamics, Booz Allen Hamilton, Lockheed Martin, etc., throwing around billions of dollars. You don’t get that kind of money from the profit margins of retail sales.

Yes, if he signs it he’s “one and done” or even less. Dems will prevail in November, impeach him, and his former supporters will not be there for him, because he was not there for us.
Until he proves otherwise I will expect him to know he must not sign away his presidency and America’s greatness.

I didn’t bother contacting my congress critter, she is an extreme, left-wing baby slaughterer.

Congress has sprung it's trap.

Now Trump is cornered into making one of two bad decisions. Either one will lose the House though the resulting bad optics of a shutdown or conservative voter fury. Talk about a raw case of GOPe suicide. This bill is their golden parachute, they will be rewarded handsomely by their donors and lobbyists for taking this fall. The congresscritters that lose their jobs will get nice consulting or lobbying gigs as promised.

Impeachment is very likely in time for the next Super Bowl. Conviction is another kettle of fish. There are plenty of open enemies in the Senate, but how many are keeping their daggers hidden in their togas, waiting for the right time to strike? Seeing how many voted for this turd of a spending bill should give us an idea.

Do a Yeltsin, Mr President, and roll the tanks. At least Congress is giving you the money for them.

I don’t think they truly care what our opinions are.

They don't.

They(politicians, Deep State, Media) think the American people are stupid, ignorant, want free stuff, and will re-elect them to office over and over until they die in office.

And "they" are right.

Seems to me the most important objective for the Trump administration would be keeping a republican majority after the upcoming midterm election.

Does passage of the spending bill help or hurt that objective? I don’t know. Wall funding can wait for 6 months or so.
