That was my suspicion as well. But its odd she would be the one to put out a bluff. She does a really good job on the press conferences and it would be good to keep her credibilty high.
The deep state is beginning to float. By definition, crooked cops think more about their own skin than any allegiances they might have once had. Too many FBI "Deep Staters" have already been exposed to make the ones left think they can continue to get away with it. Here’s the thing. Sessions did his full due diligence on this one. He could have easily fired Mueller and shut down the investigation, but instead chose to do this by the books. The deep state cannot do a thing as long as Sessions remains loyal to the job and stays independent of Trump, which he just proved.
