I’m 64. I can’t count on both hands the number of pets I’ve had to put down in my life time.

This is a strange culture that has laws protecting non-humans that are not the property of others. Just weird.

It is called a humane culture. How animals are treated is not just the concern of the owners. There are humane ways for an owner to put down a pet if he does not want to have a vet do it. Shooting the animal with an arrow at an archery range is not one of them. That is just too damn much like the owner thought it was a game in my opinion.
