What’s kinda funny is the chip led to medical records. I’ve never spent money, other than for food, for a pet. I confess that my wife does go to the vet now to get our dogs’ toes clipped. It’s just too cheap and they do a better job than I do.
If I was the guy I’d say the dog just disappeared and didn’t come back.
Heck, we have a pregnant cat that will disappear for a week at a time. We honestly thought the coyotes got her until she showed up again, big belly, about four days ago. We keep her in the house now until she delivers. My neighbor needs more barn cats.
Do yourself a favor and have her spayed this time. I hand raised all my barn cats so that when the day comes for them to get fixed I don’t have trap them. And I never have to worry about taking care of their abandoned kittens I find in my haystack.
