Vanessa Haydon Trump, the wife of President Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., filed for divorce on Thursday afternoon in a Manhattan court.
Ms. Trump, 40, is seeking an uncontested divorce to end her 12-year marriage with the president’s son. Mr. Trump, 40, the eldest of five children from President Trump’s three marriages, met his wife, a former model, when his father introduced them at a 2003 fashion show. They married in 2005 at Mar-a-Lago, the family’s club in Palm Beach, Fla. They have five children.
“After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”

Use a little logic here. She had to go to the hospital after some leftist nutcase in Massachusetts sent the family a letter with white powder in it. She and her family are assaulted by the leftist “media” 24/7/365. How much of that bullsh*t would your wife put up with? She has five kids. You don’t think she isn’t afraid? Nuts are everywhere these days.

Why not just say my top priority is doing what I want to do and I’m sure my kids can deal with it?
Why would you say something that nasty? Do you know the circumstances of their marriage?
I, on the other hand, hope they work out an equitable arrangement as adults which first and foremost puts their children first, which means joint custody and frequent visitations by both parents.

Shame to see a family breakup. The kids always suffer the worst of it.
This is the worst thing that can happen to a family. I know. I went through it when I was 10 years old and I felt betrayed by my parents.
And, its an ongoing thing. It never stops until one parent or the other passes away like my dad did.
That is what I thought too. This kind of pressure puts a strain on any couple, never mind one already having issues.
I don’t know anything about her being further left though.
I left my wife after suffering the death from thousand cuts. my youngest was already 17 and graduating from HS. My wife filled her head with lies and my eldest already figured not out. But my daughter and i reconciled when at 26 she told me she knew her mother lied about me. But now she is 47 and every now and then I feel the tension between us. It ll goes back to the divorce and the scar will probably never be healed.
It would not be so bad if it was just the two of them but with the 5 children involved it really makes it a sad situation.
Talk of kidnapping children, white powder in envelop, with stay in hospital sounds like she may have had a mental breakdown. Wish her well.
Separation will not cure her.
I can see how it would be unbearable being a healthy millionaire housewife ,living in Manhattan raising 5 beautiful children. /s
We should cease the assumptions and keep that family in our prayers.

Why can’t they do like Prince Andrew and his ex and stay in the same enormous house, together, for the sake of the children?

Shortly before I got home and saw this article, I was at the grocery store and saw a copy of the National Enquirer that had on its cover something like "Trump Family Escaped Death, Secret Service Saved Them." Yeah, I know, National Enquirer but they've been right about a lot of things.
Again, I pray for this family.
