I like Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator as Commodus

and

Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner at Roy Batty

but I'm sure I have others if I really pondered it.

Rod Steiger in both “Oklahoma” and especially in “Dr. Zhivago” was particularly mean.

Just a couple of nights ago I watched a disk which came with the movie. It was narrated by Omar Sharif and featured interviews with just about every person who was in the movie.

Rod Steiger came across as just as mean in real life as he was in the movie.

Pleasence was a fine actor. WWII RAF as well.

He served as aircraft wireless-operator with No. 166 Squadron in Bomber Command, with which he flew almost sixty raids against the Axis over occupied Europe. On 31 August 1944 Lancaster NE112, in which he was a crew member, was shot down during an attack upon Agenville,[8][9] and he was captured and imprisoned in the German prisoner-of-war camp Stalag Luft I, where he produced and acted in plays. He was discharged from the R.A.F. in 1946.

RE Corpuscle:
Holy crap I remember that scene. Scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

RE Raquel:
She was - and still is - amazing. Sophia Loren too. Aged very well, both of them.
