According to a Monday report in East Idaho News, longtime Preston Junior High School science teacher Robert Crosland is in trouble over what Preston School District 201 Superintendent Marc Gee says is a “regrettable circumstance involving some of the biological specimens” for use in Crosland’s classes.
The regrettable circumstance was, uh, apparently feeding a puppy to a snapping turtle while students watched.

Whatever. The best the school can say is that it was “unclear” that the puppy was dead...many witnesses say that it was NOT.
Furthermore, he was apparently well-known for doing this repeatedly with live guinea pigs, etc.
What is wrong with YOU that you feel it is OK to feed a live puppy to a snapping turtle in front of a bunch of children? These students are in Idaho..I’m sure they have heard/seen plenty of rabbits get caught by coyotes, eagles & other predators in the wild. This is just making a sport of it with “pets”...and at school...he is a sicko.
Some students reported that they heard the puppy cry out.
If the puppy wasn’t dead, charge him with felony animal cruelty.

Dead animals can emit noise when pressure is applied to the torso because air is forced out of the lungs... just like air in a squeaky toy.
Dogs and cats are special animals.

We have such a thing as due process where actual evidence is presented from both sides.

Read some news articles. It happened well after school. No word if the puppy was live or dead.
