They look at photographs of rocks and natural formations and presume they are nuclear obilerated cities. OK. That’s cool. Whatever.
But then they leap to the conclusion that aliens wiped out two presumed Martian civilizations. Maybe the two Martian civilizations wiped each other out?

Not aware of the ‘anomalies’, like a pipe protruding from the landscape, or chunks of what would have been part of a constructed item? Scoffers are the despicable side of these issues. It takes no intelligences to scoff, but more than the attention span of a gnat to sift through the evidence available in the Mars probe pictures.

No One is going to definitively know till we get people actually on the planet and start actual human exploration....it is all conjecture and will remain such till the above occurs.

The way surface eroded it is clear that Mars had quite a different atmosphere akin to Earth at the time. It certainly had surface water as well as evident by remaining river beds. The temperatures are actually closer to that of the Earth comraring to anywhere else in the known universe with average temperatures higher than in Antarctica and some areas get as warm as about 70 degrees on daytime in summer.
All of the above hints it certainly had life at the time although you can only guess who could it look like.
One thing for sure it’s gone millions year ago.
