Unless you have plenty of assets you don't waste them. As far as a threat of assassination...a much closer incident would have sent more of a signal.

Granted, but time will tell. However, the location alone already makes it high profile.

I would amend that...ratcheting up of tension of possible criminal prosecution against them that would make people contemplate suicide. There is usually a reason when people kill themselves.
3 - ...or if Q knew that public suicides by unstable/manipulated individuals in evocative venues was in the cabal playbook.
Again, a waste of valuable resources, IMO. How many fails does it take to get one that is capable of being manipulated? (rhetorical)
