OMG.......slow learner doesnt even cover it.
It took her all these years to learn she had been duped by a master con artist and flagrant womanizer.
Any savvy women accosted by Bill Clinton-—biting his lower lip-——would know immediately what this guy was all about.
Amazing, isn’t it? Glad a woman is thinking like a questioning man. Too many write love letters to serial killers, in unquestioning submissive admiration. It is surreal.
That term “womanizer” always makes me laugh. Why, the female just gets dazzled by his hypnosis, and helplessly has no ability to make choices in the presence of dreaded “womanizer”. She trudges forward like a zombie, shedding her clothes, licking her lips in induced lust.
The word absolves women of all responsibility.
I could successfully argue that women can IndyCar that state in men much easier than the reverse. And everybody knows it.
When she apologizes to Linda Tripp for saving her life, I might consider the possibility that she’s had a come-to-Jesus moment.
She instigated it, but he took the bait. I used to be less critical of her, largely because of her age when this happened and because he was the President and her boss, but I now see it differently. She was complicit, and actually I don't think there is such a thing as ‘innocent or innocuous flirting’ when the person being flirted with is married. The idea that ‘oh he (or she) is married, so it's safe’ is a ridiculous non-starter, and to flirt with a married boss or supervisor is highly irresponsible and potentially destructive - but it happens a lot.
The ‘me too’ movement ignores that not all ‘work related’ sexual advances are just arrogant unethical men trying to use their power to force sexual relationships with innocent working women. Women also destroy mens lives, and use flirtation as a tool to advancement. The men who act on this are not excused, and flirtation is not the same as saying ‘yes’, but it is irresponsible and disrespectful. I'm not saying, in any way, that I agree with the concept of ‘she asked for it’. I don't. However, being responsible in how we conduct ourselves with others applies to males and females.
To be honest, because parents don't always have this discussion with their children, I actually think a discussion about work-place relationships and how they can ruin lives and break up families should be a part of the junior or senior year high school curriculum.
I'm surprised some African "Prince" didn't contract Monica about the fortune his father had left him... and how he needs her help to get the money out of Africa - and will give her half...
She'd still be defending the guy - maybe he really was kidnapped and would give her her share soon... it's possible. /s
