If what he is proposing ever somehow made it into law and was upheld by the courts, you would have large swaths of the county (so called fly over, red state America, Trump's America, whatever) where it would simply be ignored or actively subverted by large swaths of the citizenry with the authorities turning a blind eye (probably in no small part out of fear of their own safety, if they tried to enforce it).
Just trying to imagine how you’d confiscate guns would be curious to me. After the first month, and a hundred dead cops...I think the whole thing would be openly discussed as impossible, and it’d just end at that point...no enforcement.
Just his suggestion on hunting and how you’d ask some county or state office for permission...especially to hunt on your own property...would be a joke.
