I said the same thing to hubby when watching the interviews morning after the shooting. These parents and kids were just weird. No emotion, no tears, just matter of fact. And what parent goes on tv within a few days of their kid dying of anything?? I would be inconsolable for life. I mean, who WANTS to talk to a reporter right after the worst tragedy in your life?

Exactly! Those people who were at the State of the Union address, look at the emotion there! That is a normal parental response.
