President Trump needs OMB to enact "Excel Sheet Decimation" of FBI

Posted on 02/21/2018 7:43:35 AM PST by Terry L Smith

The Romans invented the method of military discipline called "decimation". It meant that 'one in ten' members of the Roman Army, no matter their rank or degree of misconduct, by lottery, were slain by the other nine members.

When the New Orleans V.A. leadership, after Hurricane Katrina, had sent their employees in a form of diaspora across the nation to keep them working. Later, the decision of consolidation from over 5,000 to less than 1,500 employees came via an Excel spreadsheet sent to every employee, wherever they had been sent.

I propose that President Trump utilize the Roman principle, along with the demonstrated Excel spreadsheet, among all the employees and agents of the FBI. This time, the lottery can be done via OMB, and can remain objective.

The FBI has demonstrated that it cannot 'deliver the goods' anymore, as it once had in prior years. It is evident that to 'prune the tree', good branches as well as others will have to be so 'pruned'.

And to offer an answer to "How will we fill those pruned slots?", you don't. OMB can delete the positions, thereby saving the taxpayers money from paying possible traitorous individuals.

We’ll have to wait and see what the outcome is but we can bet that we will be better off by the time President Trump is done...

The FBI contributes little to American safety. We do not have a border anymore, so criminals walk right in. They are above the law and the people.

Dear codetoad,

re: “The FBI contributes little to American safety. We do not have a border anymore, so criminals walk right in. They are above the law and the people.”

The FBI USED TO be THE security for the nation. “The border” is under ‘The Border Patrol’’s jurisdiction, not the FBI.

The FBI didn’t even exist for over 120 years after this nation was founded.

We do not need the Famous But Incompetents.

To: Common Sense 101

dear commonsense,

Yes, the FBI has been corrupted.

My suggestion is for those GS-11 and below, who are USUALLY ‘the working stiffs’, review their files, and review who their ‘dutch uncles/godfathers/goombahs’ are, as to their performance reports, and act accordingly.

For those of GS-12 and above, remove them from office, and supplant them with the near equivalent supervisors from each of the military criminal investigative offices.

dear zooker,

re: “You can bet whoever makes the “hit list” won’t have his name on it. And you can bet a supposedly “random” list will turn out to be not so “random” after all.”

This is why I suggested the Office of Management and Budget, and not the Office of Personnel Management.

dear rob,

1. NOLA-VA sent employees across the nation, since the facility was DESTROYED. (I imagine with 13 years behind the event, you might not have heard about it.)
2. NOLA-VA had over 5000 employees, but no facility, so all of us were sent to another VA facility, to keep working.
3. NOLA-VA in the aftermath of losing a major facility, and THE facility for the southern half of the state, scrambled to maintain some presence in the affected area.
4. NOLA-VA was directed to downsize to a large clinic, henceforth, from over 5000 to 1500 employees, who were still stationed across the nation.
5. NOLA-VA via email sent an EXCEL spreadsheet to each of us 5000, noting who would be retained and who would not.
6. I suggest the same method of downsizing be done to the FBI personnel.

Why risk it? Get rid of them all. Otherwise you might miss some of the traitorous individuals.

To: McGavin999

dear mcgavin,

re:”What about merit?”

I can tell you, that the GS-12 writing the performance reports for the GS-11’s and below, can and have written them to justify performance awards, both warranted and those just doing their job.

When NOLA-VA made their criteria, it was a minimum 3years with the VA, not counting any and all years in any and all other federal offices - military and civilian.

I had ‘step awards’ and ‘incentive awards’. I had more than 20 years total service between military, DoD, and the Census Bureau before coming to the VA.

I did NOT have the prerequisite ‘3 years’ with the VA, at the time of the downsizing, (2 years, 9 months and days).

dear kozy,

re: “Not bold enough. Disband the FBI. They can’t or won’t do the job we paid them for.”

Why not swap them all out, and fill the slots with temporary assignments from the military investigative services?

dear code,

re: ‘The FBI didn’t even exist for over 120 years after this nation was founded. We do not need the Famous But Incompetents.’

True. we had the War Department and the Secret Service.

BTW, 2018 minus 120 equals 1898. “The Bureau” did not come about until the times AFTER WW1 and The Great Depression.

The only ‘outfit’ that was in existence was The Texas Rangers, and they had enough ‘street cred’ already.
