Adam Rippon took his final skate of the Pyeongchang Olympics on Saturday but the self-proclaimed "icon" isn't going home just yet. The figure skater will work for NBC as a correspondent during the final week of the Olympics on multiple platforms, including television and social media, an NBC Olympics spokesperson has confirmed.

Somebody posted they were 30 to 34% lower than Sochi. I’m sure Rippon and that female skier were the main reason.
That’s funny, because apparently Russia for the Olympics gets more viewers? LOL

I watched his performance on Youtube, since I don’t watch TV, just to see what all the fuss was about. Holy cow. He looked like he had just entered a gay bar and was trolling for some business. He put his hands on his hips, gave little smiles, swished his hips, etc. And that was before he started skating. He touched himself a million times in little ways. His skating was not masculine at all, no show of physical power. Rather it was mincing and girly, with lots of flourishes to cover up lack of demonstrations of pure male physical power like other male skaters did. Eugh!!
I mean, everybody knew about Brian Boitano, even if he didn’t say anything about it. But he was definitely the best male skater I’d ever seen, and he definitely had a lot of power to his skating.
Just the 100th reason not to watch the lameness that is this event...
I turned off NBC the moment this came to light. I sure hope the advertisers are watching what NBC is trying to get away with. It could cost them big, hiring this creep and I hope it does. Who wants to hear his propaganda.
I just want someone to reveal his HIV+ status.

I will definitely have the remote in my hand while I watch the last week of the Olympics. The second this prancing pony comes on, I’m switching the channel to ANYTHING ELSE.
Compared to Adam, Johnny Weir is a manly man.
Even Johnny went “WTF!?!” when Adam said “I am Meryl Streep” during a bizarre interview.
