Looks like a typical Black Friday at Walmart to me, but the people I saw doing the most assaulting were the security guards. They repeatedly kicked a restrained woman lying on the ground. Bend over, Carnival, you’re about to get it good and hard. Where did you find those geniuses?
Looked like a couple of Abos were also in the fray.
Australian Muslims are pretty aggressive. Just a guess.

Oh, why go there?
...
Because it is white people. I need to take one of those white-people-free vacations.
Any Muslim/Islam connection?
> Actually it does look like white people - the black people here are security guards. <
Definitely white people. But one security guard was kicking the fighters who were rolling around on the floor. I guess that’s one way to minimize injuries (not).
Old Carnival Cruise Lines motto: “Fun For All. All For Fun.”
New Carnival Cruise Lines motto: “We’ll kick you if you get out of line.”
Mr RooRoo and I took 12 year old daughter and her cousin on a Carnival tour. Everyone had told us it was the best cruise line for families with children, other cruise lines were geeze-a-thons. Disney cruises had barely begun, that wasn’t an option then.
There were 2100 passengers, 700 were children. Most of the parents drank until they nearly passed out and let their children run wild all over the ship. There was so much vandalism by the children that by the 6th and 7th nights of the cruise, security guards and crew members were posted everywhere night and day. That was the absolute worst vacation of our lives.
Well that settles it.No more Carnival cruises for me. I have done at least four but this is wierd. I looked at the video and I see security KICKING people on the floor and not trying to restrain the fighters. I see security pushing people’s cameras to stop them from taking the video and not trying to stop the brawl. This shows that Carnival’s security is not, it is just more people getting a paid ride on a ship. Horrible.
In all my years I have never been on a Cruise. Something about being stuck in a crowded, hotel that floats with the possibility of loud, obnoxious guests doesnt appeal to me. Throw in the potential to pick up some germ bugs of illness is just another repellent to avoid them.
I look back on our terrible experience with Carnival, most of the bad experience had to do with the behavior of rude trailer-trash mannered passengers—both the adults and children. I will never ever go on a Carnival cruise again—this cruise line is the equivalent of Wal Mart all liquored up.
Fans of two different Aussie Football clubs in near proximity is always a war waiting to happen!
Changes our minds. Four passengers going elsewhere.
I have never had the desire to go on a cruise.
Comments under the article said the family name was Barkho.
I was on a few cruises in my late teens, and they let me drive! (U.S. Navy, 08/10/'61-08/28/'64)
Our family has an opposite experience with Carnival. My daughter and our SIL were on a Carnival cruise when SIL got very ill and they took him to the infirmary, where a very smart doctor immediately knew that he had blood clots. X ray showed his heart twice the size it should be and SIL was in serious trouble. The Captain was called and when he realized the seriousness of the situation, he informed the whole ship of the emergency and said it was necessary to turn the ship toward the nearest island. The Captain also told he ship to start praying. SIL got medical care and it’s a long story after all this but the point is that Carnival went out of their way to save the life of their passenger and they also assigned someone to stay with the story until they knew they had done everything possible for their very ill passenger. Our family owes Carnival our loyalty.
we had a boy playing on the railing of the steps and he fell down 1.5 levels and really hurt his back.We were in cabin at 9 PM and captain announced going back toMexico to get this boy to a hospital. So we had to turn n around.
The next morning back on course as the US Coast Guard brought a chopper a medivacked him.
I would carelessly assume that possessing a concealed firearm onboard one of these vessels would be grounds for keel hauling?
Ditto that.
Anyone taking a Carnival Cruise deserves whatever happens.
