It's a pretty small circle, in fact, and a lot of those things were cut off. Most access is closely watched and logged and contained within special small SAPs in the intelligence community.
Snowden showed that the NSA is the master of hardware and software spyware man-in-the-middle, backdoor and a variety of other hacks.
The notion that there aren’t hundreds if not thousands of former and current NSA employees and contractors with that skill set not to mention foreign intelligence service and private corporate moles (and therefore potential unauthorized access) is laughable.
“Information wants to be free.”
This information may well be available on the black market to the highest bidder as well.
“Information security” is an oxymoron.
