Really! Name the class and an example ship?

BB - denotes modern (meaning post-WWI) battleship classes, basically anything starting with the HMS Dreadnought (1906). The USS Texas is the only surviving US example of that class. The B designation for battleships is for large gun capital ships prior to Dreadnought.

Of course all of this is moot large gun Dreadnought class warships have gone the way of the ship-of-the-line.
