Florida gunman says 'demon voices' told him how to pull off school shooting

Police reveal they were called out 39 TIMES to his family home before his mother died last year.

He told authorities that voices in his head told him how to carry out the shooting.

According to his legal team he suffers from autism, depression and has other significant psychological problems.

Police were called to his family's home in Parkland, Fl. 39 times since 2010.

Cruz's adoptive mother died in November from pneumonia and the father died years before of a heart attack.

He also said he had 'trouble with a girl' and he believed the timing of the attack, carried out on Valentine's Day, wasn't a coincidence.

Lynda and her husband, who died of a heart attack several years ago, adopted Cruz and his biological brother, Zachary, after the couple moved from Long Island in New York to Broward County. Cruz was an infant when he was adopted.

It's unclear if he was adopted from the U.S. or aboard. Adopted children from abroad sometimes have issues adjusting due to neglect in their orphanages, especially children from Russia.

That stood out to me as well. Does he truly expect us to believe Russian orphanages are worse than those in less developed nations or certain dictatorships?

Perhaps he didn’t have any family of his own left in the world if that’s where he went after his mother died. I wonder where is the extended family or if any.

Crazy story, sorry about your friend - glad you are ok.

Did they ever release that video of the killer ?

Do not believe me?

Talk to any RC priest who have been trained to do major exorcisms, they can go into better detail about the reality of the devil and the demonic.

I stand on my position.

I don't CARE why-I'm sick of the 'broken child' BS. His brain is diseased-he's EVIL and he's of NO use to society or himself. 17 people are dead because of him-he's garbage. Are we supposed to feel sorry for the 'broken' who made others DEAD? Do we excuse those who intentionally spread deadly disease? A suicide bomber uses explosives, this maniac used guns. What's the similarity? Diseased, evil brains.

I am confident that IF the guns and ammo he used had been thrown into the school those inanimate objects would have killed NO one. An evil lunatic with one gun leaves bodies-a gun store FULL of guns and ammo does not!

He should be stood in front of the school and shot by firing squad immediately. Crazy is a reason- not an excuse.

Another story said he was living in Palm Beach with somebody after his mother died, but he didn’t like it, so asked his friend if he could stay with his family. Most likely he wanted to get back close to the school to do the shooting. He does have a younger biological brother who was adopted into the same family with him.

I’ve worked with people removing spirit attachments and the person’s eye color changed during the process. Still amazes me.

Where you wearing your Winnie the Pooh costume when these people's eye color changed? YAFOSH.

What would you say if a person went to counseling session and the therapist had them do an exercise where they envision themselves as a child and visualize giving to their inner child the love and comforting words they need, and the patient ends up getting very emotional but was never able to find just what it is from their childhood that has made them a “haunted” person much of their lives? What kind of trauma would it most likely be, small insidious little things, one major event from before the age of memory retention, or just not getting the kind of love and bond they needed from the primary caregiver during the early formative years?

I knew a couple where the mother was 48 when they adopted a toddler from Russia, 49 when they adopted a new baby.

They’d better locate that brother and keep tabs on him. From what I read BOTH gave the adoptive parents trouble. He’s probably just as nuts, just hasn’t gone off yet.

Do not believe me?

I believe that you believe. Many people believe all sorts of things.

Talk to any RC priest who have been trained to do major exorcisms, they can go into better detail about the reality of the devil and the demonic.

I'm afraid I don't have any RC priests (exorcists or otherwise) among my friends or acquaintances.

Autism is a developmental disorder, not an emotional one. It is evident in very young children less than a year old who have not experienced trauma and who have been loved and cared for.

Children who have experienced severe neglect may shut down and stop interacting with others, but that is a different disorder.

“What kind of trauma would it most likely be?”

I try not to speculate, but much prefer to go right to the stored memory of the event and see what it is. This usually only takes me about 30 seconds as they are physical to me.

The technique your therapist is using is good as the emotional subconscious can not differentiate between imagination and reality, thus it has powerful healing abilities. However, I have the person imagine that they are holding a newborn baby that is actually themself. I have them massage the baby’s back while they hold it against their chest, smell the bay’s hair and whisper into the ear of the baby that is them, “I Love You.” It is a very powerful healing tool when there are abandonment or rejection issues.

Frequently I have found the problem is created when a mother has the next child before the older child goes through their terrible two’s. That is when the child creates separation with the mother. Prior to that stage, the older child often feels very rejected and can’t trust Love as the mother’s attention is necessarily switched to caring for the newborn.

I have found this pattern most frequently in men who constantly feel the need to cheat on their relationships as they can’t trust Love. The closer they get to intimacy the greater their fear of rejection becomes.

Seems more like pathology to me. But, so what? He should be hanged.

“He should be stood in front of the school and shot by firing squad immediately. Crazy is a reason- not an excuse. “

I am pro life. That is pro life at both ends of the life spectrum as life is precious. Thus, I am anti-death penalty.

That does not mean I am against punishment or holding people accountable for their actions. As long as a person is still alive they can still turn to Jesus, seek redemption and be healed. Even the vineyard workers who arrived at the last hour received the same pay.

Remember that Jesus said, “I am here to save, not to judge.”

Let’s keep in mind that not all that long ago, people who had epilepsy were thought to be “demon possessed” as were people who had dementia, people were autistic or had Downs Syndrome or were suffering from schizophrenia. And not one of them were ever cured by exorcism but many were abused, tortured or even killed in an attempt to exorcise their demons. So by all means let’s go back to that. Let’s also throw widowed women should one of their neighbor’s cows die into a lake and if they drown, they are innocent and if they don’t, burn them at the stake as witches.

There should still be a video of him talking back at the judge.
Essentially he was a 19 year old foster child Mollie was taking care of in our house for nearly nine months.
Never thought he would snap out of the blue, he got caught up with satanic cult stuff through some friends and possibly a Slenderman influence.

He got a 28 year sentence. Shortened a bit for a guilty plea from a 99 to life.

“who have not experienced trauma”

There is much more to the process than what you describe. I’ve worked with it extensively. More Asperger’s end of the autism spectrum, but the symptoms and brain pathology are similar.

Russian orphanages are notoriously evil, like so many things in that godforsaken blighted land of diseased animals.

The stripped down AR 15 can be bought for $600.00. Adding a brick of ammo and extra mags you are looking at $850.00.
