Duct tape would have been greatly appreciated...not only his mouth but he should have been taped to the seat!
Those were my thoughts on a recent (and much shorter) domestic flight where the kid wouldn't stop crying and caterwauling. I can't imagine 8 hrs of that kind of torture.
I honestly, as a general rule, love children, but this is a parenting problem.
I wanted to, out of exasperation, stand up and scream "will you shut that kid up!"
