What I’m more alarmed by is the vehemence which skeptics display in their insistence that Q is a fraud, and the derision that they mete out to those who happen to be more open to the possibility that Q might be for real.

I do find much of the mockery of Q and Q-believers to be overtly mean-spirited, and consequently, I tend to sympathize with those who are targeted by it...

IMO, what we are seeing is frustration and anger from linear thinkers who want straight up information they can weigh against what they already know/believe. They don’t have patience or are unwilling/unable to invest in anything less.

We have all been played repeatedly in regards to the Deep State/Globalists/politics. The critics are pissed off at this and refuse to play any longer. They want actions, preferably of a morally unambiguous sort.

One consideration for the dismissive: Q has captured the imaginations/interest/attention of hundreds of millions from around the globe. That’s an estimate based on the membership of a couple of Reddit forums, which does not include lurkers and the cumulative audience of the more reasoned analysis on YT (minus the me-too’s looking for clicks who regurgitate the more reputable interpreters). Unlike flat-earthers and Mandela Effect aficionados, the Q community is huge, spans continents and, (again, IMO) is acting as a collective intelligence as it looks for answers. Ex: this community was already noting the Russian plane crash early this morning before the latest Q posts...they didn’t need to be told it had significance. Instead, they questioned if it had significance and pooled their conclusions.

This entire Q thing is exercising quite a number of human brains.

You wrote...."This entire Q thing is exercising quite a number of human brains".....

Quick! Count the number of times that the letter F appears in the following sentence:

“Finished files are the result of years of scientific study combined with the experience of years.”

How many did you find?

>>Q thing<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I agree with you that the negative posters on FR are not trolls in a traditional sense but good people whose personalities are not compatible or comfortable with Q’s nonlinear threads of meaning and Socratic modes of communication.

On the other hand, some of us are inexorably drawn to such mysteries, which is what makes the Q documents such a work of genius, whether fact or fiction.

I might add that there is often more truth in a good novel than in the newspapers (much less the Fake News).

Nowadays, even FoxNews is suspect ... even DRUDGE ... so the relative quality and importance of “unverified” Internet sources is magnified. This is extremely true of the Q messages given their emergence as a worldwide phenomenon.

In other words, even if the Q messages are not “Authentic” in the sense of deriving from actual inside knowledge, they are an authentic piece of the historic times through which we are living.
