Race hatred controls the entertainment industry.
Last Wednesday Law and Order aired an episode where a white woman was raped at a conservative rally. At the end, the charges were dropped EVEN though the DA had DNA evidence from the Antifa perp under the victims fingernails.
Did I mention the victim was portrayed(betrayed?) as an Ann Coulter clone and ALL white conservatives as racist, sexists, neaderthals who live in their mommies basement.
I cannot remember any episode where the perp was let off and the victim was so roundly villified.
If there is another CW, Hollywood will be complicate in it's beginning..

. No, it is just a really, really bad show with disgustingly PC story lines.
No argument here.
It is totally unwatchable and were it not for the time slot it has(before Selleck's Blue Bloods, interesting enough) it would have been cancelled long ago.

And young people will have no brand recognition of Magnum P.I., so good luck with all that.
Which may explain why young people are fixated on playing video games. TV is CRAP!

Magnum PI was around for years. You can't remake it. It's not like Bond.
The characters were specific day and day, week after week. There is only one Magnum!!
To: EdnaMode
Magnum without Selleck as Magnum is dead to me from the start. Same if they tried to do Rockford with no James Garner.
Getting sick of all this PC casting. TV would have you believe the NORMAL American family was a mixed race couple (possibly both gay) with oriental, hispanic, black and white adopted kids.
As for Cagney & Lacey, never watched the original, so no interest in a remake.

ABCs The Greatest American Hero is re-imagining Steven J. Cannells 1981 cult classic, in which the unlikely (super)hero at the center Ralph Hinkley was played by William Katt. In the reboot, it is Meera, an Indian American woman. I was looking forward to seeing this reboot. Now I will refuse to watch it. I don't need to be preached at, and if they are going to preach at me, i'm going to tell them to go F*** themselves.

Let’s do remakes of “Julia,” “I Spy,” “The Cosby Show,” etc., and all the roles formerly played by blacks will now be played by whites. How would THAT go over?

I will watch the new Magnum PI as much as I watch the new Hawaii Five O. That is, rarely if ever.

"No lesbians or poofters?" HA! Are you kidding? I'm sure that Thomas Magnum will come prancing out of the closet sporting a black fishnet tank top and chaps at the start of the very first episode. Oh yeah, and he will a be black feminist SJW.

It will be interesting to see whether those ‘diversity’ characters can carry those reboots.
I never watched some of those series during their original runs. I may watch an episode or 2 to see how they are, but I don’t hold out much hope that they will be watchable.
I already dropped 2 new series from my watching: TNT’s The Alienist and WGN’s Bellevue. They both center around a teen male in a dress.

Those are two of my all-time favorite shows, and I’m certain I won’t be watching the new ones. Ever.
No “Magnum” without Selleck.
No “Cagney and Lacey” without Gless.
No political correctness.

Clean and articulate Negro cops chasing down white ghetto thugs. It's directed by the same guy who makes the ADT alarm ads.

Can't wait for the retread versions of Gilligan's Island, the Beverly Hillbillies, and I Love Lucy.
All originality left Hollywood on a midnight train years ago.
