If we work on the basis of "expiration of 5 day period", it looks like this:

• Vote Monday, Jan 29, after 5pm
• Tuesday, 5pm, one day has expired
• Wednesday, 5pm, two days have expired
• Thursday, 5pm, three days have expired
• Friday, 5pm, four days have expired
• Saturday, 5pm, five days have expired

Any disclosure to the public before that will green light the DEMs to claim Nunes didn't follow the House rule.

Yes, but the five day period is for the President’s review. If the President has signaled his agreement to release before that time, then the five day is no longer operable...at least that’s how I understand it works. I could, of course, be incorrect.
