This sort of statement is a cheap shot typical of CNN. They quote "some on social media", where one can always find a statement to suit ones purpose. This way CNN gets to cowardly attack someone, by quoting someone else. In this case, a nobody on Twitter.

Worse — that “nobody” tweet frequently came from the cfnn reporter making the report!
So smiles are sexist now. It’s obviously racist, too, since there was no smiling in the Black caucus corner during the President’s speech.
