I was finally able to see the article on another computer since I could not access it.
I now believe the family is trying to prop him up and wanting to believe he can beat this, mainly the son who is quoted in the article.
I don’t think anybody on the outside thinks he will return to Washington or go anywhere.
I will bet he is much worse than they are letting on.
I think they are in denial regarding being near death.
McCain will die in his Senate chair. His view is that chair is his property, not the people’s.
Egads! I sure hope the chattering class DOES NOT start referring to the Arizona seat as the ‘McCain seat’!
When they carry his casket from the rotunda of the Capitol and load it in the hearse bound for Arlington Cemetery. He is hanging on for spite, but also I think he wants a State funeral.
And I suspect he will get a State Funeral, for his Military service. And his decades in the Senate.
Yes I am sure he will.
OTOH one wouldn't expect it to be long, now.
Today, next month, a year, who knows... "There but for the grace of G-d go I."
