Special Elections 01/16/2018

Posted on 01/17/2018 3:02:08 PM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Besides losing one in Wisconsin, what are the other 4 seats did we win last night? I know libs are going gaga over this but 4 out 5 does not look like blue wave so far to me.

RECAP: There were 5 special elections today in the states of Iowa, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.

Republicans won 4 of the seats, and elected 2 women in SC, with democrats picking off a senate seat in Wisconsin. Vote in every election, folks.

The real issue was the very high turnout for the Democrats as compared to the GOP.

Overall turnout was 13%. Their angry millennial turds showed up, our people didn’t.

As we saw in Alabama turn out does matter.

Hubert Humphrey always said when running for re-election
campaign and work like you are running for the first time
and running behind. Republicans seem to rest on their laurels. The Democrats start working for the next set of elections a day or two after the previous election.

Glad to see this positive tweet. Funny how the 4 wins aren’t being reported by the media.

“Overall turnout was 13%. Their angry millennial turds showed up, our people didn’t.”

This is where Trump will shine later this year ... turning out the vote. It is not worth doing it right now ... people will get burned out ... however, I’m sure he will hit the campaign trail over the summer and make the fall very interesting :-).

I’m glad people are getting worked up about the recent losses ... just remember them if you think not voting won’t be a problem.

If patriots can get the message to blue state lawmakers about unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers, then blue state lawmakers might be willing to do the following.

Blue state lawmakers might be willing to follow the money to increase state revenues (higher state taxes) by working with the red states to support Pres. Trump in leading the states to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes by repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States."—Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

“The real issue was the very high turnout for the Democrats as compared to the GOP.”

And the rats lost four of five elections, so what’s your point about “very high turnout for the Democrats as compared to the GOP...”

Because these were ALL very red districts. The ones we won, we won by substantially less than we should have. We CAN;T BE COMPLACENT!

“Because these were ALL very red districts.”

So what are you people bitchin’ about? We won, right?

“The ones we won, we won by substantially less than we should have.”

So? Is that a reason to whine like a little girl? A win is a win is a win.

“We CAN;T BE COMPLACENT!”

Agreed.
