Yelp! has been overrated for years.
They are not the gold standard for quality.
More likely they never even stayed there as it was out of their budget range. Motel 6 is a stretch for them.
Anyone that uses Yelp for reviews is pretty stupid. Can’t think of a more disreputable organization. They even practice extortion via pay advertising or get bad reviews. Personally a victim of this and read about this frequently.
At least nobody at Yelp is shadowbanning them.

Yelp has been a joke for years. 5 years ago I got sick of misleading reviews so I stopped bothering with them.
The “reviews” are absolutely HILARIOUS! So many clever people. They should all be FReepers.
The only problem is it is challenging to discern whether the “reviewer” is pro-Trump or anti-Trump. They both read the same way.
New York, DC and Vegas are shit holes but I assume that Trump hotels are at the top in the American lodging industry hierarchy. Obviously the Yelp reviewers providing these reviews have a hard time swinging a Motel 6 room even with AARP discount so there’s about zero credibility.
