A Hong Kong architect has invented what he believed to be the solution of overcrowded cities by turning concrete water pipes into tiny homes.
The OPod Tube Housing system aims to re-purpose concrete tubes measuring just over eight feet in diameter, and turn them into 'micro-homes' with 100 square feet of living space.
It is the brainchild of architect James Law of James Law Cybertecture who designed the build as a possible solution to the lack of both space and affordable housing in Hong Kong.

If you are a millionaire or billionaire landlord it adds up to one thing mo money mo money mo money.
In Mexico no less.
EU Zone resort from years ago.
Where could you put these things? I bet you would hear, “not in my neighborhood” a lot.
People are back to pooping in the street these days.
Claustrophobia, here I come......
Bathroom is in the second picture, tube in the back.
The publicization of this nonsense is, I believe, anti-human conspiracy. Just in terms of SPACE (not resource usage, although with economic growth anything is possible), we could reserve fully half of all land for nature preserve, and still fit within comfortable, suburban property lots 420 BILLION people. At the population density of Tokyo, there’s room for 40 trillion. Imagine a Coruscant like planet? That could contain around 10 Quadrillion people.
Didnt we read that people were living in the storm drains under Las Vegas during the drought?
I figured on setting something like that up in my mini van for cheap cross country travel.
I live in the wilderness. Even thinking about the ‘burbs gives me the drizzles. They have to load me in to one of those tubes feet first.
Interest in small living places has been a rising industry for
some time now. Here is a Texas outfit that builds small homes
on your property, etc. They have been doing this for several
years now. Don’t know that I’d want one but if someone has a
small parcel of land then it maybe a solution.

Every global warmist politician or scientist or journalist should be required to walk the walk that they talk and live in such a tiny residence.
PING - small architecture
I love small homes. My current home is 800 square feet and I wouldn’t mind downsizing.
This design could work well if the tubes were MUCH wider, like 30-40 feet. Then the bottom half could be buried to serve as the basement/lower level while the top/main floor has all the floor space using the full width of the tube.
Do you just crap on the floor? Shower at the car wash? That isn’t a home; it’s a high-tech hovel.
