That was right around the time that Kiss got really huge. People were fired up to see the show. The guys from Kiss walked through the lobby of the arena (in Lincoln Nebraska) with all of their makeup and costumes on before the doors opened while everyone was freezing outside in line and people went apeshit. When they finally opened the doors, they only opened two for a huge crowd of people and some people got pushed through a plate glass window. I saw a girl maybe 14-15 years old with a huge gash on her arm who was bleeding profusely. Kiss was awesome as always. There were a bunch of high school kids in the row in front of us smoking weed. I had never seen that done or smelled it. I was in 7th grade. Ahhh the 70’s.
And nobody got sued. Back in the 70's we believed in "shit happens", took care of the problem and didn't call lawyers...
