I saw what you did there.
That was the name of the album she was supporting with that tour.
Haha, although 1989 should have been in quotes.
Marginally related mental image that came to mind:

“Im not a fan, but all the big acts have to charge more for shows these days because everyone steals their music.”
Or shoots up their venue.
“Taylor Swift goes out of her way not to be political. Her fan base are teenage girls: they generally do not have $500 for concert tickets,”
The Ariana Grande/Vegas premium?
It’s the song writing.
Have you seen Leonid and friends on you tube ? They are a Chicago cover band from Russia. Excellent. I am starting to like them better than Chicago. Give it a listen you won’t be disappointed.
LOL, prices have sure gone up since the days of the Beatles...
Of course my daughter had to go there.
The tickets are cheap, she hollers.
I was able to pick up a pair
For forty-seven dollars.
Allan Sherman - Pop Hates The Beatles
Well, I still dont think shes anything special.
I discovered the same thing regarding a band called Brit Floyd. Check them out on youtube (Pink Floyd tribute. Amazing show may be better than the pulse concert).
I’ll definitely check out Leonid and friends!
“Was too bad, I’m sure that they were great in their heyday.”
Lindsey still had it going on in 2006.

This looks like an effort to break the secondary ticket market. Even with crazy high prices, a many early ticket sales were likely to brokers and amateur scalpers. The first show is in May. With a reverse auction, TS will still sell out the shows while seriously hurting those who bought tickets intending to re-sell them for a profit.
occupancy costs, some of which might be determined by headcount.
Ticket prices to events (sports, concerts, plays) are the last true monopoly scam.
Why can’t she do multiple shows at each venue for less money per tix? Would sell out all shows.
More fans get to see her and she doesn’t have to travel every night.....................
Sigh... at least you got it.
My first concert. Van Halen for $7.50. Riot seating
Prices for concerts are out of sight. Most of the serious money made today is touring. But you don’t want to jack up the prices so high your fans can’t afford to come see you.
The Greed takes over in some cases.
