Authorities in Pennsylvania are pushing back against an initial judgement from the Trump administration suggesting that a shooting in Harrisburg was rooted in terrorism.
Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marco said Thursday that gunman Ahmed Amin El-Mofty, who was killed by police officers after he opened fired on authorities in the state’s capital last week, had no known ties to any terror groups, Penn Live reported.
Family previously told investigators El-Mofty was depressed about money problems and relationships with his loved ones. Pennsylvania State Police suspect he acted alone during the Dec. 22 shooting, which left a state trooper injured.
An official motive in the violent incident has not yet been established, though investigators do believe he was targeting officers in the attack...

It isn’t “terrorism” unless you are getting a shortwave message from an Afghanistan cave that says “Green light!”.
It’s part of the modern American farce that a moslem can jump out and yell allah akbar, and shoot up the place, and leave a video praising Osama..but that doesn’t ensure its “terror”.

One must die in the jihad to guarantee the heaven of Islam. To die while killing infidels (non believers or false believers (those not like the jihadist)) is both honorable and desirable. The biggest failure is to be a homocide bomber that is taken alive and dies in prison, no heaven because of failure. This is why all released from gitmo return to the battlefield, to cover their sins of failure and die in the jihad.

One does not have to have “ties” to any terrorist group to decide to go and do likewise. He gets plenty of encouragement on the internet.

Sorry Pennsylvania, but Islam itself is a “terror group”....study its doctrines and lose the political correctness that aids in the murder of your citizens.
Of course Ahmed Amin El-Mofty had no known ties to terrorism. Of course Ahmed Amin El-Mofty is yet another lone wolf, acting along. And, of course, investigators are clueless on Ahmed Amin El-Mofty’s motive.
