Btw, if those are inches, which I believe they are, this guy is only 5'5". This might explain him having the pits.

Whether 5'5" or 5'6", yes. Most of us have been acquainted with men who had mental problems with their own perceived weaknesses and others who didn't. Maybe some of them want to continue being bullies after childhood--after others sprout during adolescence to be taller. Maybe some of them tend to think in terms of scaring neighbors as an activity for "self-esteem"--a concept rejected and ignored by the healthiest minds.
As we know, for adult survivability, height is far less important than fitness, skills, intelligence and education. Generally, all other physical considerations being equal, shorter men are more likely to live longer.
