Doctor Who without nuts, eh? Nah, I know what to expect misandristic, Earth Mother-praising, anti-Trump progressive gruel disguised as sci-fi.

I agree.
I will not watch another episode until the Doctor wakes up from a coma to find the current iteration is actually a nefarious plot by one of his numerous enemies to unman and destroy him.

That just happened? I thought the new Dr happened in the spring, already. I guess that was just the news of it??
I gave up Dr Who, 20 minutes in to Capaldi’s run. Already annoyed to tears by Clara (and missed several episodes of Matt Smith’s incarnation because of her)
After the new Doc appears and she’s still around, he’s a doddering old fool and she’s in charge - too much....
Now, I KNOW they gave Dr Who girl parts because everyone KNEW Cankles McPantsuit Clintoon was going to be the leader of the free world.
In short, no thank you.
To: C19fan
Last 2 doctors have been largely forgettable...
Poorer writing and acting is the cause of bad ratings...
Pandering gender bending may get you a blip of ratings out of curiousity, but won’t improve them long term... and will look like just what it is... pointless pandering
To: C19fan
I had great hopes for Peter Capaldi.
Frankly of the all the "new" doctors he stunk the worst. I did not even bother watching much after Clara died.
Perhaps I will give it a try again.

A Dr Who villain:

Not sure how ANYTHING can ruin a series like Dr Who. What depths of stupidity have they not already plumbed?

Agree! As if Peter C. wasn't bad enough...Now they double down on "jumping the shark"...
Dang leftists never fix what is actually broken. However, they invariably destroy what isn't broken.

No. The bubbles were ridiculous. The version they did on the Simpsons was funny though.

Well Rose may not live forever, but with a human Doctor in a parallel universe. Better than how some of his other companions ended up.

Then your REALLY wouldn't have liked the first design for Rover which was even MORE ridiculous.
I like my science fiction to be clever, well acted, with good dialogue and a good twist. Way too much stuff is ALL special effects. Aliens was AWFUL. I'll take cheesy Brit sci-fi over it any day. Heck, I'd take Gumby over it.

Agreed. I gave up on the new Who last season. The writing has been terrible and the PC got to be too much.

I really liked Matt. Peter should have been good but the writers let him down and they let the PC crap ruin it. I gave up on it before Clara left.

Both of them are scary looking.

Mary Berry, Mel, and Sue are gone, only Paul H is to remain. As I said, BBC seems to have a knack for crippling very popular shows.
