My take on this is that the current owner is using the harassment allegation as a pretext to sell. I think he sees the writing on the wall for the NFL and he wants out at or near the top of the market.
Diddys a dumbass!!!
There’s always a first time. If he signs Kapernick he will lose fans and advertisers. The team is worth much more without Kapernick and P. Diddy than with them. P. Diddy’s total net worth is less than the estimated value of the team.
New York based CBS bought the once proud New York Yankees around 1965 and ran the franchise into the ground. Cleveland based ship builder George Steinbrenner bought them at a fire-sale price and restored them to something more than just respectability.
Have not followed the NBA thugs since Michael Jordan retired.
The thugs have taken over.
Unfortunately, it's just words from a loudmouth internet braggart.
Nothing like hiring a 2-14 loser who tanked NFL team values by 20% to start your role as a team owner. Go for it, “Diddy”.
We should be encouraging the other NFL owners and the NFL management to sell to Diddy.
Then watch the franchise go belly up when the fans stop going to the game, and Diddy loses everything.
I think the best way to end all this Kaep discussion is to “out” him and other NFL players for their sexual advances on groupies etc. Heck, they are going after Gene Simmons so why not Kaep?
What?!!! He’s black?
Never mind.
He will change the name to the “North Carolina Black Panthers”.
I wonder how the current Panther QB feels about this discussion?
Cost is probably close to a billion, however, and the third thing I don't know for certain is how much money he's stashed.
Talk is cheap, go for it big boy!
I’m sure Diddy would be approved for ownership by the other owners..... probably like in a few hours.....
Yep...right about time the fabfive from Michigan and the Pistons with Thomas and Lambier came around. Press built both up. Both initiated thugery into the game.
Tried to watch the nfl this weekend. found out that both Saturday games were on nflnetwork, thus could not watch. then on sunday, as I watched commercial after commercial about phones, music, downloads, autos I didn’t want or could not afford and other meaningless things, I decided it was finally time. I haven’t watched much nfl this year, but I just wanted a down weekend to rest and watch some football. my feelings; why should I pay more to watch nflnetwork, which has commercials too. more than half of the game is commercials, none of the commercials are materials I would even think of consuming. During half time they showed NO highlights on CBS and only commercials. NO wonder no one watches the games anymore, it’s an infomercial, and the product is not good. I really don’t care anymore. I love football, but this is not football. Thanks NFL, but I’m done, I’m one of the empty seats. AND if Sean Puff Daddy Big Diddy, or whatever his name is now buys a team, that further cements the END of the NFL. May as well watch the NBA....NEVER.
Kapernick is no threat to Cam Newton. Kapernick would probably be number 3 on the depth chart. Most teams use a kicker as the emergency quarterback. (Patriots had Edelman who had been a college QB. He has thrown two NFL passes for one reception, a touchdown( in the playoffs against Baltimore. Sweet) and 51 yards, no interceptions)
Kapernick would be a waste of a roster slot and a waste of salary cap. P. Diddy would be a disaster as a businessman or NFL owner.
He should pay him around 50 million a year that would be fair, and it would make up for past transgressions .
One of two things - either the other owners will be ALL IN, or they RUN FOR THE HILLS. No middle ground with this arrogant racist.
Shows he doesnt know football
“I hate money. Wealth has only made me miserable. The sooner it is all gone the happier I will be. I want to wear rags and starve like I was just another peasant.”
— Sean Combs aka P. Diddy
