I tried it. No more. I'll never pick up another man's dirty clothes again. The cats are easier. And they don't drain the bank account to rebuild a Jeep, or make me sit through hours of Dune or Star Wars or football or Civil War documentaries. Or fill the sink with dirty dishes... whenever men smirk about women who can't get a man and have to settle for cats, I think "are you sure they didn't make the trade willingly just for some peace and quiet and rest?"

Seriously, if you prefer cleaning out a cat’s litter box to picking up your man’s clothes, I can’t help you.

Men are such a gift, along with being just delightful. They are comparatively easy to figure out and easy to please. They only need about three things from you to be happy.

Give a hard-working man a few hours a week to unwind with a movie or football game while you wash the dishes. What’s the problem with that?

I have nothing against cats, but I’d never pick a cat over a man.
