Thanks Terry Mross.

In my mind, I am.

In my body, I'm just too damn lazy.

:)

I have about 15 years to go, 53 now. I’ll likely spend most of my time in the woods, making them elven as I do now but much more time to dedicate to it. Lots of gardening, etc. I may start a software automation consulting business.

Good one.

Imo, the Bible should be studied rather than read. Understand it first. 1/2 hour of studying a chapter with commentary is worth 2 hours of just reading along like zippy- da-do-dah.

Haven’t tried camping, but I might have some time to try it. I’ll study up on it on YouTube. Seriously, otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do.

you know something?

I have friends that work themselves to death and never have an ounce of pleasure because they are chasing this notion of jumping out of airplanes, travelling the world riding motorcycles and I don’t know what at age 65

Hint do that **** while you can, yer 65 and busted up that is why your retired

I’ve written five screenplays. One was in development with Jane Seymour attached. Then funding fell through now she’s too old anyway. It’ll probably be stolen eventually.

I’ve written a novella that’s on Lulu for free download. Thinking about going back on and charging a few bucks. People will pay for stuff before they’ll take it for free. Well, for people who can read anyway. I’ve also got to figure out how to get it in a format that fits Amazon. Been planning on doing that for six months but I’m lazy, too.

My writing comes in spurts. Once I start I’ll go hard and heavy for a month or two then quit for a year, two years, seven years.

It was a job, more satisfying than teaching in a godless, empty, soulless public school. ("No mention of God or Jesus at our 'holiday' program. Absolutely none!" etc.)

Now, I'm pretty tired out and heading back to the States from Kyiv in June. And am I looking forward to some rest and retirement after 40 years of teaching? for at least a few months? Yes!!

Then, the Lord will direct to somewhere else. Where? Hmmm.

Work is one of God's many blessings though and I look forward to the next chapter of my life.

Wow. Good for you Terry Mross. I'm very impressed. And this is not sarcasm.

I have great respect for anybody that puts in the effort to put their mind on paper for others to read.

It's like cave paintings, or the Pyramids, or "Kilroy was here."

I feel inspired. I will turn up my desire to write a couple notches. That'll wear off in a day or two, but I'll try.

You're a good man, Terry Mross. Get back to the papyrus and jot.

After retiring from the corporate world, I now work for myself: I founded and operate an IT support business. There is no longer 50 layers of BS between myself and my customers, in fact there are zero layers.

I’m making a shitpile less money than before, but near-zero stress, and the work is much more satisfying and self-fulfilling, and besides, I don’t really need the extra money anyway due to saving and investing. I also continue to do some computer programming for fun, putting most results into the public domain.
