MIDDLETOWN, Ohio —
A Middletown mother of nine has died of a heroin overdose, and police want to give her young children a better Christmas.
Police were called to a house on Yankee Road on Wednesday and found Jimeta Sanders, 31, unresponsive on the kitchen floor.
Authorities said she was shooting heroin with her “supposed ‘friends,’ who then in turn left her to die in front of her nine kids.”
Police said the “friends” – described as two males -- then stole her money and left the home, telling the children they were leaving to buy a 2-liter of soda.
Police believe they were a father-son duo.

Very, very few cases of addiction involve drug users who are victims of anything other than their own stupidity and/or outlook on life. All the rehab facilities in the world aren't going to fix a person who has nine kids and a heroin habit at the age of 31, but somehow finds it in herself to maintain a Facebook page and pierce her face like a pincushion.
The only role for government in this situation is to protect our borders and prosecute crimes. If that includes tossing drug traffickers into wood chippers or setting them on fire on national TV, then fine. Anything else is a waste of time and energy.
There's no way anyone can "Make America Great Again" unless we are first -- individually -- willing to make ourselves better. No company in its right mind is going to build a new manufacturing facility in a place where most of the prospective employees are unemployable.
Yep, dealers are destroying people's lives, so the sentences should be harsher for those dealing. I'd say a minimum of 25 years for the dealers - pretty soon, the supply of dealers will dry up, as will the drugs.
Of course, this woman clearly shouldn't have had even one child, let alone nine, but that is another subject altogether.
Nine sprog and only 31? Sometimes I have to pinch myself not to think of Margaret Sanger’s motives.
Jailing dealers in an age where we complain that too many minorities are in prison is a recipe for revolving door justice. This is particularly true when some people view drug crimes as victimless crimes.
In the end, you can’t stop people from killing themselves

She had taxpayer money that was supposed to feed and house her 9 children. These are the type of children who need food donated to them by friends and neighbors, because the welfare momma just had them for the government money.
And now little Marco is demanding increased child tax credits.
This heroin problem has got so far out of hand and no one has caught up with it.

My sister has been in a 100 rehabs since 1985....she just went into her 101st 2 days ago...always on the taxpayers dime.
Back in 1995 my late grandmother told me that even though she is her granddaughter and that she loves her that she believes that she absolutely HOPELESS...22 years ago.
For a lot of people rehab is nothing but a rest break.

Thats true. And the people, that make up the government, have to want a better outcome for this probem bad enough to find a better approach. And right now, they don't.

Death penalty—put into service in less than 6 months from sentencing.
Until there are really harsh consequences for all of this activity, it will NEVER stop.
